Heritage routes
Routemaster buses have been a part of London since 1956. Although the last normal route operated by this classic London icon was converted to one-person buses on 9th December 2005, a number of Routemasters continue to operate over parts of routes 9 and 15. This is so visitors to London can continue to see and ride on a traditional London bus with a conductor. Buses operate every 15 minutes from about 09:30 to 18:30, seven days a week.
The buses on route 9 operate to and from the Royal Albert Hall, so are ideal for connecting with our coaches. Alight at the stop at Knightsbridge barracks to connect with Routemasters towards Aldwych. When returning from Aldwych the Routemasters drop you outside the Royal Albert Hall, right next to the Green Line coach stop.
