Frequently asked questions

How do I know which journey suits me?

It depends on what you are requiring from your journey. If you have a specific time that you need to be somewhere then look at the timetable and then see what bus is suitable.  If you are looking for the cheapest fares, look at the colour code at the top of each journey in the timetable.

Buying a ticket?

Most tickets are available from the driver. It is sometimes not possible to purchase a return ticket. This occurs on off-peak journeys when it is cheaper to purchase a single (one-way) ticket and then purchase another single ticket on the way back. FirstWeek tickets are available from the driver and can be used for unlimited travel within Bracknell Areas 1,2 and 3. FirstMonth tickets or Green Line season tickets to London are available by calling 01344 782251 during office hours (9-5 Mon-Fri).

Quicker on the motorways

Our coaches use the M4 bus lane along the M4 and also bus lanes within central London.

Where do I get on?

Green Line routes 700, 701 and 702 are limited stop (please see the on-line maps for stop locations). Simply hail the driver as the coach approaches.

How do I know which colour journey it is?

Your ticket will display a letter code after the number ‘191’, which relates to the colour (R=red, O=Orange etc). The driver will only be able to issue tickets that are associated with that colour. If the driver cannot issue you with a return ticket it is because the journey will be cheaper by purchasing two single tickets, one on each coach.

What if the coach has a different code?

Your ticket will display a letter code after the route number, which relates to the colour (R=red, O=Orange etc). The driver will only be able to issue tickets that are associated with that colour. If the driver cannot issue you with a return ticket it is because the journey will be cheaper by purchasing two single tickets, one on each coach.
